Blackmore / Lamport Gilbert are part of TH Brickell an independent print group, operating in the sheet fed and web printing markets on two sites 90 miles apart.
They have worked with SolPrint for a number of years, using it as a total management information system. They operate a 45 user system spread over 2 sites.
Blackmore has grown up with SolPrint, being used on occasion as a test site for some of the new concepts that they have brought on board.
They use the Estimating package across both sites and find it a good fast system. The simple operation of the estimating package has allowed them to move the function into their customer service staff. This can only be done when the data in the estimating parameters is of a good standard, but it allows for a simplifying of estimates and enables many more estimates to be produced.
All of the production machines have direct data input, so a real time view can be used when looking to see the current status of any job is in the production cycle. Data analysis reports can then be easily produced using the crystal report writing software to look at productivity per machine or operator.
This whole system integrates into their Accounts department allowing financial analysis job to job and routine accounting functions.

Having installed the SolPrint system in 2003 we have been extremely impressed with the positive impact it has made on the running of our day to day operation.
The biggest strength the system offers (amongst its many advantages) is the link between the quotation system, order entry and finally invoicing which considerably reduces specification and pricing errors before they reach press.
The system is user friendly and has a comprehensive package of reports to draw upon which can improve the day to day running of your business.
"Fastforms fully recommend this system to any potential user.”
Dave Bissell, Fastforms UK General Manager

Early adoption of SolPrint looks very promising and would appear to fulfill all our expectation and ambitions for fully integrated MIS.
We look forward to being able to draw comprehensive information for costing, purchasing, quality control and productivity from a common database, which will save us an inaudible amount of time and effort. The support and patience of the i-teba staff has to be acknowledged and having reviewed other systems on the market most were too heavily biased toward a litho discipline.
"We are confident that we have chosen the best partner with SolPrint"
Paul Simmon, CLC UK Managing Director
